What a ridiculous stunt and what a ridiculous fence - 6 BILLION dollars to do nothing. No one really believes it would keep illegal aliens out of the country. And yet they have no intention of ever building it. So what a waste of taxpayer dollars to go through the motions to give moronic Americans a sense of comfort (and moronic politicians a talking point)? I don't get it!
Yeah, they authorized $1.2 billion as a "downpayment."
The ridiculous thing is that alot of the border states are challenging the plan.
My Senators Cornyn(I'm sorry, America) and Hutchinson, have specifically said they don't want the fence as it's planned.
Also, to me, this 1.2 billion ad for a Republican majority is not nearly as repugnant as the way that election politics have shaped Iraq policy. People have died because Bush tried to "stay the course" through the election.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Justin, No. We've just been convinced that the pursuit of objects and comfort is more important that the government lying to us.
Mustard, Have you seen the Rick Perry coded "border crime" commercial?
