As you know, I lost a son. If it had been at the hands of an army -- any army, my hatred would never die, my quest for revenge would never cease. We would have been better off trying to recruit and train anti-american terrorists ourselves. The way we've been screwing things up, that would have completely erradicated the problem by now.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Pictures like this break my heart. They also make me so disappointed in my fellow Americans who wouldn't tolerate such pictures of American babies.

What's interesting to me is that there are certain Iraq photos that don't make it into Yahoo's Iraq "slideshow" of wire photos.
Often those are the ones I find most emotionally disturbing, but usually not the bloodiest.
