  • I forget his name, he was some guy who got appointed to head a foundation or something that was intended to help US development based solely on private donations. Like that's gonna work.

    In other words, he was a big donor who wanted something on his CV.

  • May I be the first to welcome you to the new year. Sure other people have wished you a happy one, but has anybody actually welcomed you yet? I've obviously had that much more time to get settled in than you have (about nine hours I guess) and I think your gonna like it. It's a lot like last year's model, but with added sixage. Of course, if your not so keen, you only have to wait 363-odd days until the next one becomes available.

    So... yeah... welcome to 2006!
