Just because somebody writes something on the internet, doesn't mean it's the truth. It's called selective reporting. As with any diseaster in the world, Americans everywhere want to give. This crisis is no different.
Anyhow, you might want to turn on the word verification function on your BLOG. It's located in the comments section of your settings. It'll stop most of the SPAM (i.e. SMOG) you're getting in your BLOG.

Just go away -- as usual you didn't read anything else. This guy lives in Houston, just like me. He's already said he has given, just as I have. And you can bet that we will be giving more and more of our time and money in the months to come.
So, peter, shut up and go back and bother the good people at TLC -- they constantly kick your butt.
Yeh, I have given time, clothes, and all the money I can, and still make the house payment while eating spaghetti for a month.
And this is an issue of fact Peter, it's not about "what I read on the internet." Did President Bush ask people to donate funds to wage war in Iraq? No. Did he ask people to donate funds to help save new orleanians? Yes.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
